Redco Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) is making a significant contribution to the technology and aesthetics of the construction industry in Qatar.
Redco GRC has a complete in house design facility where our architects and engineers are assisting the Consultants in the creation of most ambitious designs. Redco GRC is capable of producing modern futuristic designs or to replicate traditional Arabic historic features.
Our GRC can be painted, faced with fine aggregates, colored or simply left with natural white, grey smooth or textured finish. Redco GRC has the honor to work on some of the most prestigious and challenging projects in Middle East.
Redco Glass Reinforced Cement (GRC) is a composite material consisting of a mortar of hydraulic cement and fine aggregate reinforced with Cem-FIL alkali resistant glass fibres. The GRC may contain additional filler materials, admixtures. The fibre contents are typically 3% to 5% by weight depending on product application and production method employed.
The properties of GRC depend on a wide range of variables. These include method of manufacture, mix formulation, fibre product type, length and orientation, admixtures used etc.
